With a $0.5bn construction package by Reunion Resort and Encore about to start on Reunion Resort around the 17th and 18th Holes of the Jack Nicklaus course, the current stakeholders at the luxury golf resort are in for a huge amount of change over the coming years.
Existing members, homeowners and vacation rental businesses are sure to keep a watchful eye on a resort where tranquility has been a way of life for the many years since the big dip in the resort’s fortunes.
A spokesperson for Encore Resorts & Homes presented their outline plans on the 17th August at Reunion Resort’s Heritage Crossing Clubhouse the huge scale project unfolded in front of Resort members.
Much of the content was already known, although pricing and lot sizes were made available for the first time (more soon).
Overall, the development ‘should’ and ‘could’ be a positive for everyone involved in the resort, depending of course upon implementation of some of the specifics, such as membership access and access by house guests that are staying on private short term rental properties.
We will be back soon with more!
Very interesting times for Reunion. It’s exciting to see which direction the resort is headed!
Best wishes, Alex
