From a latest email from Reunion Resort.
It will be interesting to see just how Carlton plans to interact with Reunion Resort’s private homeowners.
“Dear Reunion Resort Members,
It gives me great pleasure to share some exciting executive appointments within the Salamander Family.
Carlton Grant, who has served as General Manager at Hammock Beach Resort in Palm Coast since 2005, has been appointed as the new Managing Director of Reunion Resort. And, following a very careful recruitment and selection process, Tim Digby will succeed Carlton as Hammock Beach Resort’s General Manager.
Carlton will relocate to Reunion in early March after spending transition time with Tim at Hammock Beach. He will replace Jim Busch, who has been serving in a temporary leadership capacity at Reunion and has done a tremendous job.
Carlton joined Hammock Beach Resort in 2004 and served as Director of Operations before becoming Managing Director. Previously, he was Director of Operations at Wild Dunes Resort in Charleston, SC, and Director of Operations at Sanibel Harbor Resort & Spa in Fort Myers, FL. Carlton’s dynamic and charismatic leadership style is underpinned by his respect for his team. He brings to Reunion a proven and successful track record of success in development, management, operations and foresight in what is a changing business environment. I am particularly excited about the opportunity for him to continue his leadership role within our company.
A Florida resident and a highly respected hospitality leader, Tim most recently served as Managing Director at the Omni Amelia Island Plantation on Amelia Island. He was also the Senior Vice President of Operations at HEI Hotels and Resorts, and has served in leadership roles at Marriott properties in Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Texas. I share Tim’s excitement about Hammock Beach, and he is genuinely honored to be afforded the opportunity to work with and lead the Resort’s team. Tim’s appointment is consistent with the constant growth and evolution of Salamander’s service excellence philosophy.
Please join me in extending heartfelt congratulations and thanks to Carlton Grant, and also welcoming Tim Digby to the Salamander Family. We look forward to an exciting and prosperous future together!
Vice President of Operations
