We had a brief stop at Reunion’s Forte restaurant recently when meeting friends for dinner.
As always, this beautiful restaurant hit the spot perfectly with some great food.
We only stopped to enjoy two courses, before gliding into the Lobby Bar, (Hi Alex!).
Although we loved the irresistible Zucchini Chips, we somehow omitted to save enough for a photograph! All I can say is ‘sorry for that’ 😉
Seriously, if you ever want to try a delightful appetizer, please try them, you won’t regret it!
The flatbreads are great at Reunion, but those crispy, light tempura slivers of courgette and Lemon Parsley Aioli are a much better option according to our table.
We didn’t stick to convention with the wine selection, but the Oberon, Napa Valley, CA 2009 was very much appreciated ($45).
The main course for me was gorgeous; marsala chicken, (I chose mashed potato and a spinach side instead of the pasta), but, nothing as good as those chips!
If you’ve ever had the Reunion Sushi Roll, then you will know exactly how well prepared and addictive the food at Reunion can be!
